LabRAM II H

Laboratory Energetics Mixer

The LabRAM II H™ is a high-performance acoustic mixer designed to bridge the gap between laboratory development and mid-scale production.

Engineered for speed, precision, and flexibility, it delivers efficient, highly repeatable mixing across a wide range of materials, including powders, liquids, gases and viscous slurries. With an intuitive touchscreen interface, robust data tracking, and scalable processing capabilities, the LabRAM II H™ enables rapid development while maintaining consistency from lab to production.

Need a custom solution? All mixers can be customized for unique automations and applications.

The Industry Standard for Hazardous Environments

The LabRAM II H is designed for energetic users' dynamic requirements, with double the capacity of the LabRAM I — up to 2.2 lb (1 kg). It provides onboard machine cooling capability, redundant grounding of all components, temperature monitoring, and control and data collection of the process. Additionally, manual or automatic vacuum operation is optional.

The mixer is available with numerous certifications, including CE, UL, ATEX, IECEx, Class I Div 1, Class II Div 1, CSA and IP65. With a footprint of 32’’ wide by 30’’ deep and a weight of 310 lb, installation is simple for cleanrooms and other controlled environments. The stainless steel enclosure is perfect for the inbuilt purge system.

The whole system is designed for remote operation, including the HMI, purge air and optional vacuum systems.

Unmatched Power. The Ultimate in Safety. Built For The Most Demanding Environments.

Built for Safety, Without Compromise

Safety is the defining feature of the LabRAM II H. RAM H models are constructed of stainless steel, are redundantly grounded, and maintain purged enclosures to assure safe operation. A sealed, hazardous-rated SS 304 mixing platform prevents entry of mixing materials into the enclosure, and the height-adjustable holder accepts many vessel types. The fully integrated LabRAM II H houses all electronic, power, and control hardware onboard, eliminating the need for a separate control component.

Remote Operation & Advanced Control

For applications where operator standoff distance is critical, the LabRAM II H delivers unmatched capability. Every LabRAM II H system is provided with a laptop-based Human Machine Interface (HMI) that provides for remote operation from up to 2.5 miles. Operators can develop, store, and secure up to 100 recipes for permanent recording of operations and measured results, while the jacketed mixing vessel provides optional temperature control ranging from 302°F (150°C) heating to 0°F (-18°C) cooling.

Proven in the Field

The results speak for themselves. Leading defense and government customers have noted that RAM has "upended safety paradigms by mixing various types and quantities of primary explosive materials," and that "the manufacturing technologies being developed for the U.S. government are not possible without the RAM."

Testimonials

"Our developmental studies involve the processing of energetic materials using LabRAMII H from Resodyn Corporation. The results revealed that energetic formulations produced using RAM technology demonstrated equivalent, if not better, mix quality and performance than those processed using conventional methods."

-BAE Systems

“There are dozens of [energetic products] we’ve pioneered. With RAM we’ve upended safety paradigms by mixing various types and quantities of primary explosive materials. The manufacturing technologies we are developing for [the U.S. government] are not possible without the RAM.”
